Title Clerk / Accounting Clerk
LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Title Clerk / Accounting Clerk to join our client’s team. This role supports various administrative functions including payroll processing, title and registration work, dealer trade coordination, data entry, and light accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This position is temp to hire and will pay between $20 and $24/hr. depending on experience.
Responsibilities: Process bi-weekly payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and labor laws
Complete title and registration paperwork for sold vehicles, including interaction with state DMV systems
Coordinate dealer trades, including vehicle inventory updates, paperwork, and transportation logistics
Enter and maintain accurate data in dealership management systems (DMS)
Assist with accounts payable and receivable, including invoice entry and reconciliation when needed
Communicate with internal departments and external partners to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operations
Maintain organized records and files in accordance with dealership and regulatory standards
Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications: Previous experience in an administrative or accounting role
Familiarity with dealership management systems (, CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds) is a plus
Basic understanding of accounting principles and payroll processing
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
