Job Summary
The Account Manager is the primary contact for the Workers' Compensation client base, oversees claims and rate activity, helps employers develop a customized plan of action, advises employers on all alternative rating programs and administers both virtual and on-site client visits, typically within the State of Ohio.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Solid knowledge of Workers' Compensation Claims and Rate Management including all alternative rating programs offered by the Ohio BWC
Able to meet deadlines, work independently as well as in a team environment
Demonstrate effective business communication skills
Maintaining system notes and diaries
Assistance with client retention and enrollment process
Qualifications:
Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain a high level of confidentiality
Outgoing personality, self-motivated and self-disciplined
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Strong mathematical skills
Ability to type 40 WPM
Proficient with 10 key
Excellent customer service and telephone skills
Organized, attention to detail, flexibility and strong ability to multi-task
Ability to work in a fast paced environment individually or as a team
Problem-solving skills
Effectively work with others to build consensus and rapport
Ability to travel
Education and Experience
Knowledge and skills at a level normally acquired through the completion of a High School education or equivalent experience.
Physical Demands
Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
Ability to lift and move 25 lbs.
