Job Summary: We are seeking highly motivated and results-driven Merchant Services Agents to join our team. As a Merchant Services Agent, you will be responsible for selling payment processing solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. Your role is to identify potential clients, explain the benefits of our services, and close sales while providing exceptional customer support.This is an ideal opportunity for professionals with a background in B2B sales, finance, or payment processing who are seeking flexible scheduling, competitive commissions, and long-term residual income. Key Responsibilities: Identify and engage prospective business clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research. Present and sell merchant services, including credit/debit card processing, point-of-sale (POS) systems, e-commerce solutions, and mobile payments. Conduct needs assessments to tailor payment processing solutions to each client’s business model. Explain pricing structures, service agreements, and equipment/software options in a clear and honest manner. Prepare and submit contracts and applications; assist with onboarding and account setup. Maintain ongoing relationships with clients, providing support and account optimization post-sale. Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications: Proven experience in sales, preferably B2B or financial services. Strong understanding of merchant services or payment processing (preferred but not required). Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage your own schedule. High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer focus. Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new software and tools quickly.
