Qualifications and responsibilities for this 2nd Shift Manufacturing Maintenance Technician position include: Willing to work the 2nd shift from 3:30pm to 12:00am after training is completed on first shift Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment, with knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on food production machinery including conveyors, palletizers, labeling and sealing machines. Familiarity with PLC programming, ability to use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, and basic understanding of electrical systems. Experience in welding and fabrication (MIG, TIG, Stick) preferred—ability to create or modify components like custom conveyors. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams, document repairs, and communicate effectively in English. Comfortable working in a colder environment, using safe machine shop practices, and adhering to USDA/FDA/HACCP standards. Must be self-driven, adaptable to shift changes and available for seasonal overtime. High school diploma or GED required; trade school or technical certifications are a plus. Salary: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
