2025-2026 After-School Adult Group Leaders (multiple openings)

We are looking for energetic, motivated, creative, experienced, and multi-talented people with the ability to lead groups of 10-15 children from Kindergarten up to 5th grade in our before and after-school enrichment programs. This might include curriculum designing, planning activities, and supporting the daily operations of the programs. This is a part-time position for the 2025-2026 school year. Ability to commit to Monday-Friday, 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. (11:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. on 6 early school dismissal days). Some of the responsibilities include: •Plan and conduct daily enrichment activities for children, i.e., homework help, physical activities, arts & crafts projects, STEAM, group work, and various other activities determined by supervisor and director •Design and teach a weekly "Club" focusing on an interest you can share with the students; i.e., books, soccer, crafting, Star Wars (theme subject to approval by supervisor and director) •Provide documented lesson plans for all activities and "Club" curriculum •Have the ability to support and manage large groups of children transitioning into and out of after-school programs •Provide supervision and support in an after-school setting for students to participate in group class activities and encourage pro-social behaviors •In conjunction with other team members, maintain a positive, inclusive environment for both children and adults at all times •Maintain constant communication with supervisor and other staff regarding children or program issues •Participate in weekly staff meetings and attend training opportunities •Present themselves and the program in a professional and friendly manner •Show initiative and be a team player •Expected to commit for at least one full school year •Perform other job-related duties as assigned
