Description: Seeking locums who can consistently cover shifts each month. The first day will be a full orientation day, Monday through Friday, right before the first scheduled shift. Temporary privileges will be available for candidates with a clean file. Shift times are from 7 AM to 7 PM and from 6:30 PM to 7 AM. Advanced Practice Clinicians (APC) are on-site each day from 11 AM to 11 PM. Physician locums can also cover the APC shifts as needed. The emergency medicine team is high-functioning, collaborative, and dedicated to optimizing patient care. Patient encounters per shift average 23. The facility has a trauma level of 3. Newborn deliveries are received in the emergency department, and there is a labor and delivery department available. All required certifications must be current, and candidates with pending malpractice claims will not be accepted. The facility has 24-hour availability for anesthesia, general surgery, laboratory, and orthopedic surgery. Some support services, such as cardiothoracic surgery and vascular surgery, are not available.
